And having it actually work out, more than work out, it's absolutely astounding. The voice is consistant and soft like a synth and yet unlike a synth, bends to match the lyrics in a smooth and blended yet precise motion. I can't rate anything over Gary Jules because he was the first and still my favorite. From the best neutral point of view, if you sung this in his place, the song couldn't possibly have gone any less further than it already has. A truly great job, it doesn't use the soundtrack version with the percussion which was actually a very good choice. Beautiful.

It's nothing special, 17 seconds is well, it killed a bigger part of me and then made grown men cry, the background doesn't match up to well to the melody and sounds like a shoddy recording, the melody is just 8 beeps that either end with an off beat that sounds higher or lower or just an 8th beat exaggerated by the background or a short soundbit also in the background... EFG approved.
I think you've made a routine fo yourself, for every 3 good or okay songs you put, you place one bad one to break them apart, only this time you put 4 good to okay songs up and now you need to put and extra bad one up to make up for it... right? Don't kill me.

It's dramatic for one thing, not totally progressive but the build up it begin with was more than fitting, the melody was amazing again, and the change of pace at 55 something was wall orchestrated. I guess I can't say anything bad about this song, it's a well made song, played to it's known limits, anything to make it better would mean remaking alot of the song.
It's a really great song truly, I already said that but I would've said it shows alot of progress, just that it's an old song so that means that progress can only be made from this song and upwards.
Wait there's something that can be made better, it won't loop so great, just killed my buzz.

But absolutely welcome, and not the worst for being such and old song.
It makes an odd but even more oddly fitting transition to a much more lax portion at 15 something seconds, and then changes again to a half assed industrial theme that fits perfectly well in a sewer as well as making this song just subtle enough for ambience. It's main instrument or something, that odd synth like sound i guess fits well with the scale movements and carries your melody graciously.
There's plenty of space for more complex and riveting music but this song simply easy to listen to, music that wont effect your heart rate. It's actually great considering how old it is, creative, has a nice choice of instruments, relaxing even, which is out of many people's tastes.

The melody that can be salvaged from the random sounds that is actually built up to in a very light steampunk way is actually pretty spiffy, it pauses for some comic diversion and then moves into a short ambient period that sort of although not truly, relates to the original melody. But the big thing is this is really creative, it's been done before but this one is one of the few that "works" although only meant to be heard once or twice.

Argh, it's, 3 loops submitted in a row and one of them actually turned out this bad. Epic maneuver. This just cant compare to the final product of shadow sky and barely matches up with your other loops this year, it's just a notch above your oldest songs of 2007.
It's okay-ish, it loops real good, the beat changes, the background and the instrument that takes over with a new melody at 15 something is good but the main melody which you always seem to make so amazing is simply not there. It feels repetative without even looping once and follows one beat (1-2-3-4 1-2-3-4) moving around the scale after each repetition, the end goes like this (1-2-and-3 1) and then well loops. I guess I just took a good melody being there for granted. Or!!! You just need to avoid making loops, get devoted to your craft, make real songs not these loops as listening to 3 loops is apparently my limit.

It's nothing astounding, it doesn't make the same sort of big jumps you do with most loops when it comes to melody, this songs gimmick is it adds and at some point switches intruments with different parts although you do that in other songs it appears most in this one because there's simply nothing else special to mention except maybe a hidden relation to your older songs.
So It's fine, I guess, sounds fine, not good or bad, just fine.
I like to stare at my walls, it provides hours of enjoyment, the gaps and run-ins of the paint a simply enchanting, when I get older im not going to live in a house but simply a building of walls, real walls, none of that plywood bs.

Maybe it all fits together! Maybe the music, similar to music from megaman may be a marketing scheme in advertising a product that is... Who the hell would buy a can of 50 year old spray-on hardwood panel flooring for 90 bucks.
In answering one question (not really) ive only created a greater un-related paradox that makes me question my sanity.
I wasn't joking about the megaman part, it doesn't actually sound like old music but is on par with the music in the old megaman games music that's actually good only with smoother sounding instruments and is well, simply that.

This song seemed like a build up to a train wreck only without the awesome train wreck which most authors put in to quickly finish an old project. The background was something of my tastes and the addition of synths and breaking in the melody was orchestrated really well, it was flowing smoothly and then just stops (It doesn't even derail and head into a mob of defenseless pigmy marmasets, or penguins since they cant hide in trees...). Not even looping to pass time.
I would give it an 8 but the utter disappointment of that background not getting used in a fully functional song just... I think a part of me just died.

I start off my day by vewing your submissions of 2008 and then after seeing the songs before this you crush the newly found admiration I have for you by making this, this abomination. You sir, make babies cry.
On another note, you've made an excellent loop once again. Kind of indifferent from your older songs of Spring of 07'? Meh I guess just your older songs. A melody not unlike any of your older songs just with better accompaniment and instruments that are much easier on the ear.
